Dirk has played bass for over 50 years, from blues to bluegrass, rock to swing. Since moving to Port Townsend in the mid-oughts he has focused on playing jazz, favoring duos, trios and small combos, and plays regularly with various musicians from the Port Townsend jazz community and beyond. Also in the band George Radebaugh on keyboards and Chris Bickley on sax.
