The Bay Area Big Band was founded and directed by Chris Bickley. Chris is a recognized artist, leader, and educator that has performed extensively for over 30 years. The band’s 16 musicians feature world class local talent that includes such recognizable artists as: Rick Culver, Pete Asch, Steve Stargardt, Mike Hunter, Jack Dryden, John Lindenau, and more.

From swing to contemporary, rich ballads to latin, the bands music reaches across generations, cultures, and all musical tastes. The arrangements and rich orchestrations highlight both the ensemble and individual talents.
