This week 8.11.2025 Monday Jazz @ Brother Don’s features guest artist Alexey Nikolaev on saxophone. Since 2000, Alexey lives and works in Seattle. Alexey graduated from Gnesin's Music Academy (Russia) 1989 - 1993, and completed studies with saxophonist Dave Liebman 1994 Dublin (Ireland). His international performances include: Montreux Jazz Festival (SWITZERLAND), Black Sea Jazz Festival (RUSSIA), IAJE / New York (USA), Centrum Port Townsend (USA), Jazz in the Valley (USA), DeMiero Jazz Festival (USA), Moscow Hermitage Jazz Festival (RUSSIA), Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival (USA), Earshot Jazz Festival (USA), Vancouver Jazz Festival (USA), Portland Jazz Festival (USA), Pony Boy Records Jazz Festival (USA), Toronto Jazz Festival (CANADA), Victoria Jazz Festival (CANADA), and many more in the United States, Europe, Russia and Asia.
