This week 11.22026 Monday Jazz @ Brother Don’s features special guest artist Tacoma harmonica legend Jay Mabin. A veteran of the Northwest music scene for over 50 years, Jay has earned himself the reputation as that of being a true musical legend and harmonica player extraordinaire. He can have you laughing with a familiar and whimsical quote within one song or pull at your heartstrings within a gorgeous ballad the next, all while expressing his own, unique self. The kinetic interaction between Jay and the band take the listener on a musical road-trip through the Great American Songbook; stopping off for a pit-stop with Miles Davis and the Beatles, then continuing down an uncharted, sonic highway that somehow seems familiar, yet still adventurous.

Also in the band Jonas Myres - keys, Osama Afifi - bass, Jeff Busch - drums, and Chris Bickley - sax. Enjoy great food, your favorite beverage, a comfortable kid friendly atmosphere, and WORLD CLASS JAZZ. Hope to see you!
